Cold water traveling Oct 08

Those of you who have been trying to get hold of me in the last two weeks will be aware that I’ve been away, doing a little product testing.
This summer film maker Oliver Banks invited me to join him and two exceptional surfers, Mark Dickinson and Steve Crawford for a Autumn cold water surf trip. We had a van, 14 quirky surfboards, a pile of OS maps and a two week swell window, I couldn’t say no. we scored a plenty of waves from long and pealing to short and challenging. As there were just the four of us we came back a little light on stills but there should be some amazing film to follow. I’ll post the footage on the site as soon as I get it in the mean time check out Oli’s previous work “900 miles” available from www.fluidconcept.co.uk

The trip was a Great opportunity to spend time with good people, surf great waves, drink tea, eat cake and talk boards. Thanks to the local crew for there hospitality and Once again, thanks to Oli, Steve and Mark. thanks to Tom and Ernie from www.finisterreuk.com for providing us with warm clothing and finally thanks to Jer and Kev for keeping the Factory running in my absence.
